May 2010 Residual Internet Income

May was interesting.  I actually did a good bit of writing but mostly for DemandStudios fixed price articles.  But that isn’t really what I’m after, although the cash is nice.  I had signed up for InfoBarrel before eHow shutdown their WCP so have started really writing there to try to build my residual income.  When I get more details I may change the Adsense row in the table to more specifics, so far I haven’t actually earned anything from InfoBarrel, but I only had 2 articles up until a couple days ago.

The interesting part about May was the eHow earnings, they were at a monthly best.  I have been adding some backlinks to the articles so don’t know if that was why or if the articles are aging in the search engines.

Got first & second payouts for microstock!

It took a lot longer than I care to admit but I finally got my first payouts from Fotolia & Shutterstock.  Both were at their minimums, but it is still an accomplishment.  Earnings are still way down as I’m not contributing very aggressively.  I have submitted a couple batches to Shutterstock just to have most if not all rejected.  Need to put more focus into it than I have lately.

Not adding much to microstock right now

As you can see from my lack of posts on my earnings lately, I’ve not been focused on microstock right now.  Still getting a couple downloads, actually approaching the first payout on a site or two.  Still want to get back to doing some shooting and uploading, just haven’t had the time lately.

Microstock Earnings May 2009

I suppose I’m taking a slight risk posting this before the actual end of the month, but I’m willing to take that chance.  I’ll update the post if I actually get a Sunday download.

It’s now been two months since I’ve done any uploading of images.  I’m actually really getting the itch to get back to uploading, just don’t have much time right now.  The reason I want to get more pictures uploaded is because I’m really starting to see the financial effect a large, high quality microstock portfolio can have for me.  Although I can’t really say my portfolio is large or high quality.
